This notice is the French statutory legal notice (mentions légales) of the Murmure website. It is provided in French and English; the French version prevails.

In accordance with article 6, III, 2 of French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 (LCEN), the publisher, a non-professional individual, does not publish a postal address. Their identification details have been provided to the hosting provider, which may pass them to the judicial authorities.

3. Intellectual property and licences
- Murmure's visual identity (logo, pictogram, wordmark, mock-ups) and the code of the website and app are all rights reserved. The code is not published under an open-source licence.
- Data and texts from open sources (POP-Mérimée, OpenStreetMap, Wikipedia, Wikidata) remain subject to their original licences. Details are on the Credits page.
- The stories and memos on this site are derived from Wikipedia and Wikidata texts (automatic summaries and rewording). They are offered under the same terms as their source: CC BY-SA 4.0.
- Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons, each with its own licence shown under the image and on the Credits page.
4. Content and liability
Stories and memos are generated automatically from public sources, then read by a synthetic voice. They may contain errors or approximations. To report an error or a disputed content, or to exercise a right of reply or rectification, write to contact@murmure.travel.
5. Personal data and cookies
Personal data processing (app and website) is described in the privacy policy. The website uses no cookies and no audience-measurement tool.
The home page, the places index, the About page and the place pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google. The legal pages and the privacy page load no external resource.
6. Applicable law
The website is governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the competent courts in France.
